What Data We Collect
Explicitly You Provide
- Account Info: Email, name, phone, GitHub profile (optional)
- Learning Data: Course progress, projects submitted, quiz scores
- Profile Data: Skills, experience, goals, resume/portfolio links
- Communication: Messages in chat, support tickets, feedback
System-Generated Data
- Activity Logs: Login timestamps, API calls, evaluation requests
- Performance Metrics: Time spent, completion rates, project scores
- Device Info: Browser type, IP address (for abuse prevention only)
- Consent Records: Timestamps of when you agreed to policies
What We do NOT Collect
- ❌ Password hashes in plaintext (bcrypt encrypted server-side)
- ❌ Credit card numbers (Razorpay handles payments, we never see them)
- ❌ Browsing history outside ZeroTheory
- ❌ Biometric data
- ❌ Location data (unless explicitly enabled)
- ❌ Behavioral tracking cookies
How We Use Your Data
Your Rights

- Delete: Request permanent deletion of your account + data
- Portability: Export your courses, certificates, projects
- Withdraw Consent: Opt out of AI evaluation, marketing emails

Data Encryption & Security
At Rest (Database): AES-256 encryption for sensitive fields
In Transit: TLS 1.3 on all connections (HTTPS enforced)
Key Management: API keys rotated every 90 days
