What to actually track
Most founders track vanity metrics. These three are the only ones that matter on Day 7 for deciding whether to scale or pivot:
Landing-to-signup conversion
Target ≥ 8%
How: GA4 funnel: hero CTA click → /register submit
Signup-to-Week-1-complete
Target ≥ 35%
How: Supabase: profiles with onboarding_completed_at vs total
Cost per qualified signup (paid traffic)
Target ≤ ₹120
How: Total ad spend ÷ signups from paid sources
Rule of thumb: if 8/35/120 holds for 7 days, scale ad spend 5× the next week. If any one misses, stop spending and fix copy/funnel first. Don't scale broken funnels.
